“To say moving from Colorado where I had lived most of my life to Hudson Ohio was a big change is an understatement. Not only did my family not know anyone here, but so much of Ohio life was different from the life we lived back west. We were definitely out of our comfort zone! Overwhelmed. Lonely. Homesick. Hudson Newcomers was invaluable to my family and me during this time. Through the club my husband and I got connected and made some fabulous friends quicker than I ever thought possible. Before we knew it,Hudson was feeling like home. While I am no longer “new” to Hudson, I continue to remain a member of HNC. It’s great to participate with my now good friends in the great preplanned activities. I love the ability to “pay it forward” welcoming new residents who are experiencing transition like I once was.
